Hey, my name's Samantha, but most people call me Sam. Online I've gotten myself stuck with the rather silly-sounding "Neets", but really, what's life without a silly nick name?

My "thing" is horseback riding. I just recently got my own horse, Valerius Magnus. He's a 15.3hh bay paint gelding, and yes, he's named after Valerius Magnus from the Sherrilyn Kenyon books. And, yes, it does suit him quite well. He's also got two pretty blue eyes, but who's bragging? Plus, (and this would be my inner 8-year-old speaking) he's got one heart-shaped pupil and one large heart-shaped splotch! Aww, isn't that just precious? <3 And you don't even have to squint to see them!

I took lessons here in Missouri when I was about 6, but then we moved to the (seemingly) barn-less land of Florida, where I couldn't find a place I enjoyed riding at. So, fast-forward about 9 years, and I'm back in Missouri, riding nearly every day, and taking lessons two times a week. That makes me 15, for the curious.

I ride English, and have just started working towards eventing. Currently, I've been to one XC schooling and gone over several beginner novice fences, and that's it. No competition experience yet!

Reading's also something I love. Fantasy was definitely my first favorite genre, but I've branched out quite a bit since then. Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter books would be my most recent addition to my list of favorites. Some authors already on the list include Mercedes Lackey, Kate Forsyth, Trudi Canavan, and R. A. Salvatore.

TV on DVD is incredibly fun as well. My favorites are House, ER, and Felicity. And... that's nearly it.
